Watching The Last Stand is like serving a taken cup complete of a traditional european, losing it into a complete cup of Red Fluff, and chugging the whole mixture. Japanese home Kim Jee-woon creates his British terminology first appearance here, and his first The show biz industry attempt is full of non-stop pacing and a story that is so remarkably simple, it’s type of surprising it has not been done before.
Sure, we’ve seen “stand off” films in the last, but few have the type of enraged energy, fun loving humorousness, and targeted perspective that Jee-woon has. In short, The Last Stand is fast-paced, action-packed, and a complete boost.Barring a couple small performances in the Expendables films, Arnold Schwarzenegger has been out of the performing game for nearly ten years; shade me amazed, then, that Arnold does not skip a step when coming back to the category that he so taken over in the 80s and 90s. His innovative age provides as the deacyed plant material for some periodic humor in this movie, but the guy is still amazingly able for a 65-year-old.
